HVAC Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our team of technicians, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring timely and quality repairs, maintenance, and installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Hire, train, and supervise a team of HVAC technicians, assigning work orders and ensuring efficient scheduling.
Monitor technician performance, providing feedback and coaching to optimize productivity and quality.
Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns.
Customer Service:
Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service delivery.
Resolve customer issues effectively, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Operations Management:
Monitor and analyze service metrics, including response times, completion rates, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize service delivery and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical support to technicians on complex troubleshooting and repair issues.
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and industry advancements.
Maintain accurate service documentation and records.
Financial Oversight:
Manage service budgets, tracking costs and ensuring profitability of service operations.
Prepare service reports and analyze financial performance.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional service offerings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HVAC service manager or a similar role in the industry.
Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair procedures.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
Customer service-oriented with a focus on building positive relationships.
Proficiency in scheduling software and managing service dispatch operations.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
EPA certification required.
