ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project/Program Manager to lead an IT program, adding a new brand to Jostens. This role will involve integration with existing backend systems, coordination across business teams, coordination across external teams, and ensuring delivery excellence. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, extensive experience with Atlassian tools, and a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects. The Senior Project/Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the program’s success, collaborating with senior leadership, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining tight control of budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
YOU HAVE:
• Required:
• BA/BS degree in an analytical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with a focus on new brand, manufacturing, retail, B2B, B2C or enterprise system integration.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to partner across business functions and drive dependency-based milestones and tasks.
• Experience managing vendors and ensuring adherence to contract deliverables.
• Experience in working with multi-location and offshore teams.
• Excellent communication and coalition building skills with an ability to balance, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to build strong strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
• Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous approach to managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks on highly visible projects with aggressive timelines.

• Technical Skills:
• Expertise and broad knowledge in integrating new brands across enterprise systems including manufacturing, order management, customer service, sales, and finance.
• Mastery of project management tools including Atlassian and Microsoft tools
• Strong expertise in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jira Advanced Roadmap Plans).
• Understanding of enterprise system architecture and integration principles.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking tools.
• Experience creating detailed reports and presenting to senior leadership.
• Preferred:
• Advanced proficiency in usage of Atlassian Jira and other Atlassian products for full SDLC delivery and reporting.
YOU WILL:
• Program and Project Management:
• Own the overall program strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Work with IT stakeholders to firm up plans and drive the initiation of the project.
• Plan, manage, and oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Leverage Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to deliver high-quality outcomes tailored to project needs leveraging Jostens delivery standards for process and technology.
• Team Leadership and Coordination:
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal departments, vendor resources, and external partners.
• Foster collaboration across business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Timeline and Deliverable Management:
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project timelines, ensuring visibility and accountability for key milestones.
• Manage the creation and review of both technical and business deliverables, ensuring completeness and quality.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring delivery commitments are met and managing vendor performance.
• Partner with senior leaders to communicate program status, challenges, and successes, maintaining trust and alignment.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Budget Ownership:
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial tracking and reporting is accurate and timely.
• Optimize resource allocation across teams and vendors, balancing cost, quality, and time considerations.
