Software Engineer
About this role
We are currently looking for a Freelance Front-End/Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This part-time, hourly role focuses on developing and optimizing both front-end and back-end aspects of our platform, which is dedicated to advancing sustainability and compliance in the business sector. Here’s a brief overview of what we’re looking for:
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the front-end of applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
Build and optimize back-end features in Python, integrating with AWS cloud services.
Collaborate with our product teams on new features, ensuring application performance and quality.
Tackle and resolve software bottlenecks and bugs, and explore new technologies to enhance our stack.
Required Skills:
Strong skills in front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS).
Back-end development experience with Python and familiarity with Flask or Django.
Proficiency with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and RESTful APIs.
An understanding of scalable application design principles and code versioning tools like Git.
