Plumbing Department Lead
About this role
Plumbing Department Lead
Eagle Pipe Heating & Air | Full-Time
We're looking for an experienced journeyman plumber ready to take ownership of our plumbing department. This isn't just a senior tech role — you'll be shaping how the department runs, mentoring the team, and helping drive the quality and reputation of our plumbing work. If you've got the field experience, the leadership instincts, and a vision for how a plumbing crew should operate, we want to talk.
A real local job. Our work is concentrated on the west side of Puget Sound, so if you live on the Kitsap Peninsula or nearby, you're looking at a sane commute and your evenings back — no ferry rides, no I-5 grind.
What You'll Do
Lead the plumbing department day-to-day, setting the standard for quality, safety, and customer experience
Run residential and light commercial installs and repairs when hands-on leadership is needed
Develop and mentor plumbers and apprentices, building a team that takes pride in their craft
Partner with ownership and project managers on scheduling, capacity, and departmental priorities
Own the customer experience for plumbing work — from first conversation to final walkthrough
Ensure every job is completed on time, up to code, and to Eagle Pipe's quality standards
Collaborate across trades to keep projects moving smoothly
Keep job documentation, materials lists, and service records accurate and organized
Represent Eagle Pipe with pride on every call, every job, every time
