HVAC Comfort Advisor (Sales Rep)

Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Comfort Advisor to help homeowners make confident decisions about their HVAC systems. This role focuses on in-home sales consultations, converting technician-generated leads into system replacements, upgrades, and long-term solutions.
You’ll combine technical understanding, strong communication, and a consultative approach to deliver the best outcome for both the customer and the company.
Key Responsibilities
In-Home Sales Consultations
Meet with customers to assess heating, cooling, and indoor comfort needs
Perform system evaluations and recommend appropriate replacement or upgrade options
Design solutions including ducted systems, ductless systems, and add-ons (IAQ, zoning, etc.)
Present clear, professional proposals and explain options in a way customers understand
Lead Management & Follow-Up
Run leads generated by service and maintenance technicians
Follow up on open estimates and unsold opportunities
Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process
Sales Process & Documentation
Build and present proposals using ServiceTitan
Ensure all estimates, financing options, and notes are properly documented
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and job statuses
Coordinate with design technician to ensure proper handoff to the installation team
Customer Education & Experience
Educate customers on system options, efficiency, rebates, and long-term value
Help customers understand repair vs. replace decisions without pressure
Provide a professional, trustworthy experience that builds long-term relationships
Represent the company brand with integrity and consistency
Performance & Goals
Achieve revenue and closing rate targets
Maintain strong average ticket and margin performance
Contribute to company growth through consistent sales production
Support membership growth and customer retention when applicable
Qualifications
Prior HVAC sales or in-home sales experience preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with customers
Comfortable discussing pricing, financing, and large purchase decisions
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar CRM is a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Smooth handoffs to install team with minimal issues

Compensation & Structure
Commission over base for the first 90 days, then commission only.
Performance incentives tied to revenue and closing percentage
